Pet care experience
We've always kept dogs at home. They live an easy, free life with masses of open space and long walks if needed. All our children are grown up. We have two neutered lurchers, a large garden and a 4-acre field plus easy access to walks (and swims) all around us. We live at the end of a no-through road so it's a very safe environment. Friends and clients say "it's paradise for dogs".

Wow! This was a perfect holiday for Jessie. Kate took amazing care of her and I don’t think she wanted to come home! We got multiple pictures/ videos a day and Kate was super quick to respond to anything or give any updates. Kate and her husband were so loving in giving Jessie all the cuddles and making her feel welcome. She got lots of exercise and adored hanging out with the boys 🐾. Wally and Barney were fantastic company and she will absolutely miss her friends. Thank you all so much and Jessie is counting down the days till she can be with her new crew again.

Communication with Kate was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Daily updates on how Jasper was doing which was nice, and Kate has a Lovely family home that we could tell Jasper felt comfortable in. Excellent service and will definitely use again.
Simba had the time of his life! He did not want to come home. What great care and good company he had during his stay. Spoilt doggo.

I have experience of looking after veterans and dogs who are deaf and have poor sight. I'm also familiar with dogs on medication and can administer first aid.
A typical day
We walk a lot or as little as needed. My lurchers like one big walk a day which doggy guests can take or leave, in addition to short walks morning and evening. They also swim in the local shallow river, perfect on hot days.

Availability
I work full-time from home. My two dogs work alongside me when I am in the office and we walk morning, lunchtime and evening. On the odd days I work away, my husband is here so the dogs are always well cared for.
