I have had kittens and cats since I was 18. Including one of our current cats, who started out feral and has since become a doted on, indoor cat. While I grew up with dogs, I didn't adopt until my 40s because of my travel schedule for work. Since then we have had 4 - a Lab, a golden, a Carolina Dog, and our current terrier/retriever mix that we adopted as a puppy. So I'm use to dealing with high energy pups.

Kate is a friendly, professional, and dedicated sitter. She was consistent with her visits, updates, and care for our two cats, and she worked hard to make friends with our very shy kitties! She even went the extra mile and swept up some plant dirt after our two cats got a bit mischievous. We would definitely use Kate again.

For drop in visits with cats, I'll handle the usual chores - cleaning out litter and feeding. And if the kitties enjoy a brushing or pets, I'm happy to spend time doing that. For dog visits and walks, I can also handle feeding if needed, ball throwing in the yard, brushing, or just pets and cuddles.

Hear is what I'd like to know about your dog: 1. Do you use a harness on walks to prevent pulling? 2. Is your dog friendly with other dogs, people? 3. Is your dog fearful of anything in particular, loud trucks, etc.? 4. Is there any area of his/her body that he/she doesn't like to be touched? 5. Is it ok to give your dog a treat?
A typical day
Typically I would expect to walk your dog around the neighborhood. But Byrd Park, Bandy Park and Pony Pasture walking trail are great places for long walks. If you have a fenced backyard, I'm happy to play fetch or tug with your pup.

Availability
I'm retired. I typically take my dog to the dog park early in the morning, and early evening. But I can adjust our schedule for drop in visits or neighborhood walks.
