Pet care experience
I'm a biology student at PCC and I would love to keep your pups/kitties entertained! I can check in on them for snacks and playtime, or take them to a park or trail nearby to get some exercise. If your pets are more the sedentary type I'm also happy to just chill out with them at your home. If they need additional care such as multiple walks a day or medications, I’m more than happy to see if we can make that work as well! Please let me know the schedule in advance though, as a student I may need to work around classes. I also have some limited experience with small birds, hamsters, fish, and lizards.

kate is absolutely amazing w our two dogs. we have had her watch them a few times for vacations we have taken and she is constantly sending us updates when she would pop in and check on them and take them for their daily walks. she is highly recommended and amazing.
Kate was sooooo amazing with our two dogs. we were gone for a week and she was able to check on them three times a day keeping up with their feeding schedules and taking them for walks/runs everyday. We would highly recommended her for anyone concerned with who is watching their pets. We will definitely be using her services again and both the dogs already are missing their time they had with her for the week. Thank you Kate you are the best!!!

This was my first time leaving my dog with a house sitter, so I was nervous. Kate was great from the first communication and completely set me and my dog at ease. My priority is to make sure your pet is happy, healthy, and feeling safe when I visit them. From the time I show up they are the center of my attention for praise, pets+ bellyrubs, playtime and treats-let me know if you'd rather I not give them treats or if you'd like me to use specific ones. I do not take dogs off-leash unless it is in your own enclosed backyard, for safety reasons.

Please let me know how your dog is trained to go on walks, what routines you have for mealtimes, any fears or loves, allergies, medications, games they like to play or behaviors to avoid/discourage: the more info the better so I can replicate their day as if you were there.
A typical day
For dogs looking to play and run around I usually go to the Mt Tabor and Sandy dog parks, but I also love to check out whatever your local dog parks are. I usually have a few treats on hand(let me know if your pup has any restrictions) and would love to know any special games or tricks they like to play.

I'm a student as well as doing some volunteer work at the Armory theater downtown. This is mostly in the evenings, so during the day I'm just working around classes. Let me know what time of the day your pet could use some attention and I'll let you know if it's open.
