Pet care experience
I have always loved animals ever since I was young. In a professional setting, I have job shadowed at multiple veterinary practices, volunteered at a horse rescue and worked as a dog walker/sitter for a small business. I do have experience with all types of dogs/cats and am willing to administer oral medications if necessary. We recently moved to TN, so sadly had to give our 6 beautiful egg laying hens to a neighbor to care for. I sure do miss them! I have grown up with dogs all of my life and currently have a 12 yr old Husky Shepard mix and a 1 year old Cavapoo. My children are both now in school so I’m looking to fill my free time with your furry loved one!

Kate is wonderful and my pup Colby loves her already! She sent the BEST pictures of him (better than I can get him to take!). She eased my mind while I had to be away and I knew he was in good hands. A meet and greet is a great way to make sure we will be a good match! Happy to meet you and your fur baby (babies) prior to any pet walking/sitting. Your pet will be getting one on one attention from me and will be the only one I am with at their scheduled visit. I prefer not to mix other pets, including my own, just in case there is a scuffle/conflict between animals. I keep daily logs of visits and spend time not only walking, making sure your pet does their business, but really trying to get the most out of the visit by getting their energy out while you are away. Happy to feed and make sure their water bowl is always full, give treats, administer oral meds if needed, practice tricks and send pictures to you!

Please let me know if your dog has any special behaviors, things they like/don’t like, eating habits, favorite treats and toys to play with as well as energy levels. I’d like to keep on file your pets veterinary practice information in case of an emergency as well.
A typical day
A typical visit would start with some bonding, snuggles and checking any notes left for me. Making a note of when I arrive and then let’s get that baby out to do their business to avoid any accidents! After a nice walk including lots of opportunities to sniff around the neighborhood then we head back to the home and finish up w some play time, snuggles and treats!

Availability
I work from home full time. My weekends are usually filled with exploring our new city with my family, but I am willing to make some exceptions with enough advanced notice. I can make evening visits as well, but will also need advanced notice to be sure my husband will be home to watch the kiddos while I visit your fur baby!
