Pet care experience
I am a dog owner who works full time from my home in Stuyvesant, NY. I've been taking care of dogs for over 10 years and have had my own friendly Old English Sheepdog Bertie for 5 years now. I love all dogs and would be delighted to help with yours and treat them like family.

We are so happy we found Kate to house sit and care for our elder pets for a week. We returned home to relaxed pets and a tidy house. She was flexible with our changing schedule, communicated often and was overall extremely competent and caring. She is an excellent sitter.
Kate was friendly, easy to communicate with, and ensured everything was squared away to make our pups stay as smooth as possible!
Kate watched my dog Lilo earlier this summer. She was very communicative and I felt comforted knowing Lilo was safe there. Her dog Bertie is so cute and they had a great time playing together. I would definitely bring Lilo back to Kate’s the next time I’m in town!
I never leave my dog w anyone but my mom so I was apprehensive at the idea, but talking with Kate before boarding Smokey helped set my mind at ease. During Smokey’s stay, Kate was communicative about daily activities as well as concerns when he was having some surprise digestive problems. She was extremely caring, cooked him special meals to ease his tummy, and above all I felt very confident about his safety and security when Kate watched Smokey for a long weekend. Her dog Bertie got along well with Smokey and I will absolutely recommend her to people looking for a caring, responsible dog sitter. Thank you Kate!

Availability
I work from home full time and have a dog myself, so pet care comes quite easily to me! It is part of my daily routine. In the summers, I also have access to a private pool if your dog likes to swim. I am only accepting house sitting requests & am no longer boarding in my home. **House sitting bookings** my dog Bertie will NOT be present. I will work from your home so your pets will not be alone much. Reliable cable or fiber internet is required for house sitting bookings.
