Hello! My name is Kate and I have worked in veterinary/animal welfare settings for the past 10 year. I have a love for all animals and I love taking them to the park or walks, hikes or just around the neighborhood and a good snuggle. I have dog/house sat for the past 12 years for short andlong term clients and am happy to provide references. I hope I get a chance to spend some time with your furry family member! Why I love dog sitting I have been a animal lover since day one! I grew up with 2 golden retrievers and both barn and house cats, bunnies, and small pets. My experience administering medication I am very comfortable, I helped with nursing when I worked at the vet hospital so I'm comfortable doing any kind of medication administration.

It's clear she genuinely enjoys working with animals. While she is new to San Francisco she has already explored all the dog parks & done research on quality vets. Our dog loves her & is always excited to see her. I feel confident that if there were any health or behaiveral issues she would promptly take action including notifying us & making helpful suggestions.. She has also done dog sitting for us and we know we can leave knowing our dog & house is in good hands. She is like one of our family.

I make sure to start slow to make sure to build a bond with your dog. Then I love to take them hiking or walking as well as the beach or dog park, whatever their preference is works great for me! If you pet is boarding with me I don't have a yard but I have a neighborhood off leash park just down the street.

I also need to know if they have any allergies or if they are on any medications. It's also important to know what their favorite actives are so we can have the most fun while you're away :).

I am currently not working so am free to be with your pet 24/7. I love to get out and hike or walk at least once a day so would love to bring your dog along! I also am experienced with senior or special needs dogs that might need a different type of companion so will be happy to accommodate accordingly.
