I’ll keep your dog safe and happy!

Pet care experience

I’ve had my own dogs since I was very little and always had the responsibilities of taking care of them. I’ve had my own little one since I adopted her 12 years ago, she’s my best friend. Every dog I see I NEED to pet them and say hi, as long as the owner is ok with that. Making sure a dog is comfortable with me is also important so I will always make them feel loved and treat them kindly.

Kate was very sweet and took good care of our dog. She made sure his normal routines were met and he was comfortable.

Such a natural. Kind, on the ball and wonderful to work with. My wife and I will continue to have Kate sit and walk our dog. Thanks Kate!

Safety, trust & environment

In my own home I have a small terrier named Penny and a cat named Penelope who both get along great with other pets. My yard is not completely closed off so walks in my neighborhood would be best. I have wooden stairs that I’ve added tread to so there’s no slipping for the dogs. I have a crate for small/medium dogs if they need a place to relax on their own. Tons of blankets for them to curl up in as well.

Information Kate C. would like to know about your pet

I always want to know what your dogs favorite thing to do is so I can be sure to add that into our time together. Also having access to their favorite toy/treats/bed is also great so I can keep their environment familiar with a new person.

A typical day

Going in walks in my number one! Getting them some exercise and fresh air is super important and it will wear them out for a good nap afterwards. Tug of war is also great to play if your dog enjoys that, improve that jaw strength and again wear them out for an afternoon nap!

I’m currently a stay at home mom so I have a pretty open schedule. I do a quick school drop off in the mornings and pickup in the afternoons but my day to day is always the same and can easily fit animal care into it.
