Vet Student Kate
I am a student at the Cornell Vet School and I have over 4000 hours working in small animal veterinary clinics. I’ve done lots of house and dog sitting for various animals (including rabbits) in the past. I volunteer at the CNY Snap Clinic a few times a month and enjoy keeping active! If you need someone to run your dog while you’re gone then I can help with that. :) I am open on weekends and weekdays to hangout with your pets, it’s a bonus if they like to lounge around and study with me! I am more than happy to house sit or do drop in visits at households with any type of animals.

I currently do not take care of or watch pets at my house as I am renting and they do not allow pets. When I take care of pets at a client’s home I like to ask what they usually do on a daily basis and keep to that schedule along with any other requests they may have, such as watering plants.
Ratings and reviews
Kate has taken care of my 2 dogs twice in the last month. She’s very reliable and my dogs love her! I hate leaving them, but I know they’re in good hands with Kate.
Kate took great care of my pups, one of them can get overly excited, and it can be a bit much for some people. He did really well with Kate. She checked in on time and sent pictures which were very reassuring. I will definitely book her again.
Kate was amazing! We were fortunate to book her last minute over a holiday weekend. My dog warmed up to her immediately! She kept our energetic dog very busy. Kate is a responsible, kind and thoughtful dogsitter!
Kate did a great job. We were able to travel and not worry about our pets. Daily photo’s helped increase our confidence.
Ahri can have an attitude. Thank you for sticking with this schedule and taking care of our dogs. It was important for us to be able to get out once and awhile. We will be able to do that now that Kate has met and taken such good care of our dogs.
Kate recently house/dog sitted for me while I was out of town almost 2 weeks. Kate was very prompt, responsible and updated me with photos. One of my dogs recently had surgery, so she was able to give her medication. There was a mild concern regarding one of the suture sites, she immediately informed me and contacted my vet, which put me at ease while I was out of the country. I was very happy with her responsiveness and attention to detail. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend.

Schedule
Currently I’m in my second year of veterinary school so my only time obligations are class and studying. Aside from that I have lots of free time to spend with your pets!

- Before watching any pets I like to know specific details about feeding habits and nighttime sleeping routines or medications. Additionally if they require a certain amount of exercise. I have no breed preferences!
