I love running and playing with dogs. Also, I enjoy cuddling and holding practically any animal that is receptive. I’m an organized, responsible, practical and well-educated physician-enteprenuer with an online consulting business. I'm adaptable and can work from anywhere that has internet service. I am passionate about the outdoors and love to go for walks and hikes on a daily basis. I’ve had dogs, cats and horses my entire life and have been known to have a gentle, patient touch with even the more challenging of animals. I am very excited to meet your furry friend and spend some time giving him, or her, some attention and care. Kate watched my French bulldog while I was away and was amazing! I got lots of photos, videos, and detailed updates every day. Over the past 6 months, Kate has been my house & dog sitter on multiple occasions for up to 10 days at a time. I have always returned to a clean and organized home and a very happy, healthy dog. She has been diligent about all tasks - collecting mail, small house maintenance tasks, garbage and recycling, etc. I have enjoyed seeing several photographs sent from Kate of my doggie, Kobo, doing different activities and looking very well while away. Will absolutely recommend her as a very trusted and passionate house & dog sitter.

No breed preferences - I've cared for many types of horses, dogs, cats and a variety of animals for years. I a medical doctor....I believe some skills are transferable, especially common sense. I volunteered at a Veterinary Clinic with two vets for an entire summer - worked with both small and large animals in this sense.
A typical day
I exercise daily - can run up to 6 miles a day for 6-7 days out of the week. If your dog can only walk, I'm very happy to trade speed for company:) If you let me know your preferences for routes, I'm happy to take your animal on a variety of hikes, walks, park visits, etc. **BTW, I'm completely type A about cleaning up and taking care of 'business' - not only is this essential for the community, but close awareness and visualizing of the GI functioning of your pet is also a double check on their health & happiness.
