They wake up in a good mood every day. They spread happiness wherever they go. They’re always excited to see you. Dogs are the best creatures in the world! My dedication to enriching their lives is deep and sincere: I have three of my own, and I work in a holistic dog food store. I also apply my nutritional expertise to my own business by making and selling all-natural, healthy dog treats. I make dog leashes and toys, too! I simply adore being with dogs. I have plenty of experience making them feel at home, providing the right amount of exercise, and ensuring their health and happiness every single day. I’ll be in constant contact, with pictures and updates, so you know exactly what we’re up to! I’m truly passionate about what I do, and dogs love the attention and care they get from me. My commitment to safety also makes me a great pet-sitter. I take no unnecessary risks, and supervise dogs at all times when we’re outdoors, whether on-leash on a walk or off-leash in a backyard or dog park. They get my full, undivided focus, no matter what. We’ll have a wonderful time exploring the outdoors: visiting local parks, taking long walks, and even going for a run if your dog wants to join me! My dogs aren’t fond of running, but I’m always thrilled when I get the chance to bring a dog along on my daily run. I also enjoy cuddling with pups while I read or watch Netflix. I also have a cat, and she’s talkative, warm, and friendly. I’m happy to look after your cats as well! Dogs make me incredibly happy; they never fail to brighten my day. Kate took great care of my sweet pup! She was very flexible, professional, and responsive. She brought Sadie a treat (she owns her own treat business) to our meet and greet. What makes your dog special? What are their quirks? What does your normal routine look like? What aspects of it are most important? Is there anything your dog needs to avoid, either because of food allergies or behavioral triggers? We’ll go over these questions and more at our meet-and-greet. I usually bring treats, and approach them in a non-threatening way (from an angle, rather than head-on). Then, I’ll pet the dog when they’re ready for me to get close. I love all kinds of dogs, especially Labs and mutts, and have worked with dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
A typical day
Typically, I’d start with a morning walk followed by breakfast, then a potty break. After that, we might play games at home or go to a park if it’s a weekend, or I’ll go to work. Several days a week, I’ll be back soon and have the entire afternoon free to go for another walk, get extra cuddles, and spend more time together. After dinner, we’ll go for another walk, and wind down before we go to bed and snuggle some more. If your dog has a favorite excursion, like a great walk or a dog park, we’ll be sure to work it into our schedule. I will also bring your dog along on my runs if that’s something they’d enjoy.
