I'm Kate and I love animals! I have three wonderful dogs of my own. I work from home so I'm always available for walks, drop in visits, and house sitting. I have experience working as a kennel tech for a doggy day care facility, which taught me a lot about different breed and age specific needs. Two of my dogs are worlds apart. Pink is laidback and submissive, while Leela is energetic and bossy. These two have shown me just how different each dog can be in terms of their needs and personalities, so I understand the importance of getting to know your dog on a personal level. I love dogs of all sizes and energy levels!

My Basset Hound named Rufus refuses to use his new doggie door. (He used the old one for 3 years. Not much difference in the 2!) Anyway, now he has to have a walker because I'm away at work too long. Enter Kate! What a delightful, sweet, laid back dog lover! Now Rufus is in love with her. He is so happy. I ask him every night when I get home if he had fun, but I think he wants to keep his 'girlfriend' under wraps for now. Won't say a peep, but I have pics! Thanks Kate for all you do!
Kate is AMAZING. She will take care your pet like her own. She sent pictures that gave me comfort and piece of mind that my dog was well taken care off. She was very responsive to emails and questions. This will be my goto person In the future. Thank you so much ???
As this was my first time using Rover, I feel I really lucked out choosing Kate for sitting with my 2 dogs. She was very friendly and patient. I appreciate that she sent updates of their activities and feeding, along with awesome photos. I would definitely have her sit again for me in the future!
Kate was great. She was an excellent communicator. She was attentive and could tell she took good care of Hobie while he was there. We will definitely be repeat customers.

A typical day
During the week, I like to take my dogs out to the park or for a 1-2 mile walk. On the weekends we like to go for nature hikes, usually where we can find some water because Pink loves to swim. Please let me know if you would like me to take your dog to the park, on leashed hikes, or if you want me to stay and play with them at home. Please let me know if they're leash reactive or don't care for dog parks, I'm happy to accommodate with one-on-one playtime.

Availability
Having three dogs, my daily routine is centered around caring for my pets. We go for walks everyday and try to make it to the dog park at least a couple times a week.
