Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my life since I was 7yrs old, I absolutely adore all dogs of all shapes and sizes. Ever since my sweet Molly dog died suddenly last year, I'm not quite ready to adopt myself yet but I have been really craving time with pups! I have a remote and flexible job, but this would bring me both extra serotonin and cash for fun things in my life. I also live on the ground floor of a brownstone with backyard access. Your pup can run free and frolic with the two upstairs pups if they're into socializing. Having had my own dogs in this apartment, I can assure you it's a safe and secure spot, a fully fenced-in yard, and we'd never leave without a harness and leash. I also offer endless attention and pets:)

Kate is the absolute best! I am extremely picky about who I leave Bear with (have had some negative experiences in the past) and Kate is one of the very few people that I truly don’t even question if Bear is doing alright or not when he is with her. She loves him so much and he always gets so excited when he knows he is going to Kate’s. I truly feel so lucky to have found someone who cares for Bear as much as I do and always know he is well taken care of with Kate.
Kate was just lovely! Kept me updated on my pup who has separation anxiety — but clearly she was happy and comfortable with Kate the whole time :) would certainly book again. Thank you!
Kate was absolutely amazing watching our dog Perry for a week! She sent great updates (and adorable photos), treated him like he was her own dog, and we could tell he was so happy with her. We will 100% be going back to Kate and would recommend her to everyone.

I have fenced in yard that your pup will share on occasion with three neighbor dogs who are very friendly. I also have three doors to get into my apartment so there’s little risk of someone slipping out while I take out the trash or get the mail.

Availability
Like I noted above, I work remotely and typically work a four-day week schedule (M-Th). I have lots of flexibility with my hours so it’s easy for me to take pups for a few walks during the day and play in the backyard btw meetings. My daycare hours are 9am-6pm. Drop offs before 8am or after 7pm will be an extra $10 fee. If the time exceeds 12hrs I’ll ask you to book for the overnight rate. Pickup/drop off can be available if you live nearby for an additional fee.
