Pet care experience
I grew up with wild and dramatic boxers, so I can handle anything! I’ve raised one puppy and one kitten as well. During college I dog sat and boarded for several friends, and had a dog walking job in highschool. During my 6 months of rover experience, I have built a wide ranging customer basis; I’ve worked with everything from cats, to english bulldogs, to mastiffs. I just can’t get enough of em!
Reviews
Kate was great with our 2 dogs. She sent plenty of pictures and updates. Would highly recommend!
Kate did a fantastic job caring for our large crew (2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 fish). She was reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. She was especially good with our rescue dog who is leery of strangers. Would recommend her highly to anyone looking.
I have never had a pet sitter as good as Kate. The smartest decision anyone could do is trust Kate with your animals. We have two cats, and they both can get lonely and anxious. And Kate makes sure to spend extra time with them, loving them and playing with them. I literally have absolutely no worries when we go away knowing she’s taking care of our kids. She even tidied up and vacuums sometimes with is INCREDIBLE. It’s so nice to come home to a clean(er) house and happy cats. She attentive and on time, and communicates every step of the way. There’s literally no one better than Kate!
Kate was awesome. She was communicative and very good with my dog.

I treat your pet like one of my own when I’m taking care of them, and truly enjoy their presence. I do my best to offer an unparalleled service (My trademark is pet massage!) to pamper your pet. I also make sure to walk in more secluded areas and always avoid other dogs and people on our walks.

Information Kate B. would like to know about your pet
I know how important it is to give dogs consistent care and reinforcement; let me know how you respond to your pets behavior (biting/nibbling, barking, leash pulling, pawing, growling, separation anxiety). Let me know if your lil guy has any special needs, including dietary restrictions, specific exercise and attention requirements, and, of course, their favorite place for scratches.
A typical day
As a retired athlete, I love to spend my work breaks outside exploring new places. High energy and in shape dogs can join me on my daily jogs around campus! Older or more relaxed dogs will love a leisurely stroll around the wonderful neighbor hoods of Clifton, or playing catch on shakely lawn. For dogs who prefer the great indoors, I bet I could beat them in a game of tug of war or keep away.

I’m free lancing for a while as I save up for law school and van life! I am on my own schedule, and typically work on and off by the hour, giving me plenty of time to dote over your pet. I’m an early riser and have no problem being prodded for an early morning walk or feeding. I don’t travel much so I am around weekends and holidays. I am a retired college athlete so I am always on the go- your good boy or girl will have no trouble finding a reliable playmate in me. My philosophy is “a tired dog is a happy dog”. More easy going guys can gladly join me one of my favorite activities - napping.
