We love dogs of all kinds, but have a special place in our hearts for terriers, border collies, poodle mixes (and mixes generally), slightly scruffy/curly-haired dogs, anyone with spots, and energetic mid-sized dogs like Vislas and pointers. Please let us know if your dog has any special needs, unique dietary concerns (unlike chocolate, which we know no dogs should eat), or aversions to cats, children, or certain other types of dogs to help us steer clear of any threats.

We are very involved dog-sitters. We will take the dogs who stay with us out for walks and playtime with neighbors as often as possible (about every 4 hours on workdays, but more often on weekends). Dogs who can walk about 1 mile or who travel well in the car can try out one of the nearby dog parks with us too, complete with a cooling fountain. Although we don't allow dogs on our furniture, other than that, we will do the best to follow the owners' parenting style while you're away. If you crate, we will; if you give treats as positive reinforcement, we will, etc.
