Pet care experience
I am an ER nurse that loves animals and would love to help watch your loved one on my days off! I can provide lots of attention/monitoring and walks/potty breaks. I have had dogs and cats my whole life (grew up with two Golden Retrievers and then a Brittany Spaniel) so I know how to care for dogs. I have also had cats and currently have a 9-yr old male cat (he gets along with dogs but does not like being barked at or chased). I live close to a walking trail and will get your pup out in nature—not just the backyard! There is an animal hospital nearby and I have close family and friends who are vets that I can consult with should anything seem abnormal.

Kate is a gem. Seriously she is the best. She watched my puppy while I was at work and was so responsive, responsible, flexible, and kind. I feel So lucky to have been able to use her and she is my go to pet sitter.
Kate was awesome to work with and took excellent care of my eight week old puppy. She was flexible to drop off and pickup at times that were convenient to me, including when I needed to have my puppy stay a bit later due to my travel schedule. My puppy loved staying with Kate and she made it an overall stress-free experience for me.
My puppy had a wonderful day staying with Kate. She was well-cared for and I received periodic photos showing me what they were up to. She was one tired pup - she slept like a rock that night! We would definitely recommend and use Kate again.
Kate was great with my puppy Sophie as well as accommodating me being a bit late to pick her up. She communicated with me throughout the day and I felt good knowing my pup was in good hands!

Doors will be kept closed to any area your pet should not be in. Otherwise, they will be monitored. If they are crate trained, they will remain in the crate anytime I need to step away, and I currently have plans to build an animal lounge in the basement!

A typical day
Interaction with your animal will include snuggling, playing with toys inside, sniffing around the backyard, and walks along the trail behind my home. Trips to a dog park if circumstances allow :)

I typically work 3 12-hr shifts per week (usually weekends). My schedule changes each week, but will be happy to plan around it if enough time is given in advance.
