Pet care experience
I have never been without a dog in my home. I love them. Aside from my own pets,I have taken care of a few friends' dogs and cats. I have done overnight stays, 3-4 times a day visits, walks, grooming (baths, nails, hair). I'm no professional in grooming, but, they always come out looking nice. I enjoy playing and lounging around with dogs. Whether they are super affectionate and active or more aloof, I can do whatever they need. I am also good with giving them medicine; pills or liquids, if they so need. I also generally send updates to the owners. Mostly via pictures because, dogs are the best. They are wonderful creatures and deserve the best every day. Taking care of dogs is something I find very fullfiling.

Kate was available on very short notice when our usual sitter quit. She sent us picture updates, and we are so thankful that someone was able to play with Binky! He seemed to be very comfortable with her.

Before sitting for a dog, I'd like to know if they need to be let out more than 3-4 times a day and how long you're okay with them not being let out as I am attending school and have other areas of life that may need attention. Also, if they have any special medicinal needs/extra care, whether they are sick or old. Let me know their limits. Vet information in case of emergency is very important as well. And in case I cannot make it to your pet for a visit due to some unforeseen obstacle, if you'd be alright with someone stepping in. Their information I'd give to you, of course.
A typical day
If your dog likes to play and go on walks that's what I'll do. If they're more of the lazy type we can do that too. It's up to them to take me up on whatever I can offer.
