Pet care experience
I've been taking care of pets since my family got our first dog when I was just 4 years old, a dachshund named Leisel who I helped care for since her first day in our home. Over the years we had multiple dogs and a variety of other animals, and by age 8 or 9 I was regularly pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors, which I've continued to do until today. I'm comfortable with and have experience caring for puppies and senior pups, big and small animals, cats and dogs, different personalities, needs, and routines.

She is loving and responsible and is clearly a perfect fit for this! She's a wonderfully warm people-person, to be sure, but you can tell, she truly prefers the dog! :) Follows all of our weird preferences and goes the extra mile.

I would like to know about your dog's general behavior and temperament, especially how they normally fare with people they don't know and outside on walks, as well as any quirks to be aware of! Information about any words or commands your dog knows is helpful too. I would also like to know any care needs and whether I am able to provide treats :)
A typical day
I love providing enriching activities for dogs! As the owner of a very active terrier mix, I'm a big fan of activities like puzzles, clicker training, and long walks to help burn physical and mental energy. I am happy to continue your dogs training regimen or favorite activities--and maybe learn some new tricks! German and Mention Village are great for dogs because they both have sidewalks and so many parks nearby.
