I grew up with large dogs in NW Minnesota. I believe mutts and shelter pups are the best and recently rescued a 10 month lab myself. I have a fairly active lifestyle but enjoy a a day on the patio or hanging out on the couch to cuddle. I can help work on skills and commands and reward good behavior. While I mostly use dog treats, I have been known to give a carrot or blueberry - but never from my/other humans plates. My pup loves other dogs and plays well, lots of energy.
