Hi I’m Kat! I used to care for my family’s Australian shepherds as their primary caretaker, so I am familiar to caring for high-energy dogs! Over a 16 year span, I cared for over five different breeds of dogs, all small to medium size, and have been around and an owner of cats since before I could walk!

Kat is great! She connected to my little Sally right away and you can see that she has a love for animals. We had a really good connection and she was quick to give me feedback during the house sitting she did at my place.She’s dependable, mature and very much in charge of any situation. Kat is awesome with my dog. She takes such good care of her and is never in a rush. Kat gives my dog the attention she needs and is very patient with her. I know my dog is in good hands with Kat.
Kat has taken care of our two mini-Australian shepherds for over a year, as if they were her very own. They love seeing her, she is attuned to their moods and needs and we are very happy for how they have flourished under her watch. We have also had her as an authorized human to make decisions on their behalf at the local vet, for when we could not be there.

On walks your pup and I would explore the various trails in Reston, while incorporating lots of time for smelling all the smells and enjoying the time together outside! At home, your kitty and I would get to know each through play, talk, or all the pets - all at your cat’s personal comfort level.

I’m currently available for afternoon or evening drop-in visits or walks - specifically I’m looking for pet families in need of help on an ongoing or occasional basis, as I believe it’s important to build comfort and familiarity for pets in order to provide them the best care!
