I will treat your pets like my own! This means balanced, positive reinforcement based training techniques and cooperative care where the pet is allowed choices and autonomy during a potentially stressful time away my mom/dad! I’ve found this helps to dramatically reduce any stress or anxiety they may feel during babysitting time. I help them engage in a variety of different forms of enrichment (snuffle mats, new toys, new walking areas, etc) but if your pet has any limitations, let me know and I will happily accommodate! I love taking dogs on long hikes! If you’re out of town for the day and want your fur baby to have some great outside time while you’re gone, I’m your guy! As an active person myself, I’ve been too many of Boulder’s near by trails that I would love to show to your doggo! Again, if they have any physical limitations, let me know! We will stick to even ground around the neighborhood! I’m also very experienced with reading a dog’s signs of discomfort and/or overstimulation and will adjust accordingly! Over the years, I’ve had a lot of experience with animals that may not necessarily be able to be cared for in the same room. Have a Husky that gets just a bit too excited when he sees the cats? Two cats that hate each other? Does one pet have food guarding issues? No one takes it more seriously than me. I treat each of these scenarios as a “no-mistakes” case, taking every precaution to ensure all individuals are safe and stress free!
