Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs all our lives. We have two rescues and understand that pups need time and patience in new surroundings. Please know your nervous pup is safe with us!! We also own horses. We have a yard for walking and toys for play. I’m a work from home pup mom so no worries about your pup alone at any time. Can feed your pup and administer any supplements or meds; if I can work a horse anything else is easy. Great references from an owner of five dogs I looked after for over a year. We are familiar with large and small dogs of any breed or size. Thank you for looking at our availability of services and hope to meet your pup soon to give the love and attention we give our pups.

Excellent experience! Our 2 corgis stayed with Kat for a few days. They were extremely well cared for and communication was great. Very happy :) Definitely recommend!!
Kat was absolutely great! She has a large yard for champ to walk around in and a comfortable room for him to stay in. She communicates well and kept us updated our entire trip with messages and photos. Champ seemed to have a great time and was well taken care of with Kat. We definitely recommend her and hope to have Kat take care of our dog again.
Kat did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Mouse! She was super communicative and made sure Mouse had a blast. Her backyard was perfect for Mouse to sniff around and play fetch. She also took time to take Mouse for a hike. We had no issues at all and would not hesitate to use Kat again in the future!

We have a large yard in a rural county setting but close enough to New Haven and surrounding cities. Your dog can have a separate room or a large gated off if needed. Medical crating is also available for pets in post operative settings.

I have cared for just whelped pups to senior dogs with special needs. My diverse experience allows for any special needs including medication administration to assisting older dogs with mobility issues that require extra patience and care. Rest assured, having owned special needs and seniors I understand the extra care they need.
A typical day
Anything from lap naps to high energy runs and puppy pool play, any activity is always available. Just let me know your pup’s favorite things to do and I can customize their level of activity for a happy healthy stay at my home.

I have dedicated my life to the welfare of all animals large and small. My family has rescued, fostered and cared for all types and breeds of dogs. From puppies in need of potty training, loving family pets, pups with behavioral issues like separation anxiety and all the way up to hospice care. All dogs should be treated with love and compassion in all stages of life just like any family member.
