Pet care experience
You know that 8 year old that goes around your neighborhood sells their pet sitting services- that was me. At 15 I had my first job working at a boarding kennel where I power washed kennels, gave medications, walked dogs, gave baths, and played fetch in the summer heat, in the ice and snow and even on Christmas morning (turns out holidays are when most people need pet sitters 😉). That job not only gave me a strong work ethic it’s also where I learned all the skills I would need to take care of all pets with all kinds of medical and behavior differences. After college, I taught math for 10 years before moving into tech sales and now work at my family’s commercial embroidery and screen printing business .

Kat is so great with our German Shepherds. She is great at playing with them and keeping them active on her visits. They seem to really enjoy her visits with them.

Kat has done an excellent job taking care of our fur baby multiple times while we are both at work. She is reliable and always sends lots of pictures which we love!! Our dog has a great time with her and gets her energy out. We love Kat!

I will make sure to understand your pet’s specific needs, energy level, and personality to make sure they’re the most comfortable and we maximize our time together. If medications are needed, I will make sure to supervise they have properly taken them (not just picked around the treat 😂). We will also discuss their propensity to escape and measures you take to prevent this from the yard, on the leash, or even if you have one that likes to bolt for the door. As someone who also has professionals in my house when I’m not home, I understand trust is imperative- my career background had me working with underage students, confidential information, as well as bank account details without issue. I will make sure you get updates about my visits so you can rest easy knowing your furry loved one is living their best life.

Personality, energy levels, behavior around other animals/types of people, diet (can they or do they have treats), are their any medical issues I need to be aware of especially during activity, is there a particular route they enjoy walking or places we need to avoid.
A typical day
We’ll make sure to have plenty of time for pets and scritches before and after our time together. If our goal is to play out some energy make sure to leave our favorite toys and we’ll get in some time for fetch, tug of war, etc. on walks we’ll smell all the smells and see all the things!
