Hello! I am a Veterinary Nurse with 10 years experience in pet care and professional medical care. I got my degree in Indiana before moving to Florida. I also work part time for a local animal rescue as their lead Vet Tech. I am experienced in emergency care and animal CPR. I can also give medications with ease. I highly enjoy my profession and want to branch out to more personal care via pet sitting and dog walking.

whenever I mentions Kats name to my dogs the go absolutely nuts, in a good way, I've had other sitters before but there is something about kat and the way she handles both of them, like always I'm skeptical of all sitters (due to bad experiences in the past) but when I introduced my golden doodle and my dachshund mix to kat they both loved her and the way she handled them I knew they would be in good hands for walking and for sitting when I travel for work. I look forward to her next visit and I'm sure my fur babies will be too!!!
Kat was such a pleasant experience. She took amazing care of Maggy and alleviated my worries about my kitty being alone. Highly recommended for her excellent service.
Hello! If you're looking for someone to take care of your animals while your away or just general pet care Kat is the the lady for you! My dog lola doesn't care for most people who dog sit and walk but she loves kat to the point she always runs to the door when its around the time she comes to visit us.
Absolutely love kat!!! and my dog chewy loves her aswell she is very sweet, on time, and incredibly professional!!! when it comes down to taking care of my animals I look forward to her next visit and I'm 100% positive chewy is aswell

I am also experienced in animal behavior & how to know when an instance is an emergency. If your pet is elderly or needing medications, I am also experienced in those skills.

It always helps to know ahead of time certain situations your dog may not be comfortable with. For example I have walked dogs that are reactive to other “stranger” dogs. We just avoid them. Also any dietary restrictions or if your dog tends to pick things up along our walks.
A typical day
For walks I do like to stay within the neighborhood. Hot days for safety we’ll take a leisurely walk but can also run through any sidewalk sprinklers!! For my visits in the home I always try to incorporate play time or TV. If allowed I like to leave treats when I leave for the day.

I currently work part time at a local pet rescue so most days I am very available and flexible. I am fortunate enough the rescue I work for knows I also offer pet sitting.
