Pet care experience
Hello there! I have been caring for animals of all kinds ever since I can remember. I am currently a college student pursuing a degree in animal & equine science with hopes of pursuing a doctorate in veterinary medicine. My school work is done online so I am able to be flexible. I currently own 9 cats and 2 dogs with my fiancé. I have a passion for providing pets with the finest care and have had this experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. I have 3+ years of experience as a certified veterinary technician and kennel counselor as well as aiding in animal shelter management and care. I currently work in ER and general practice veterinary medicine as a head nurse. With my work experience, I have come to know a wide variety of information on medications and health conditions that require specific attention. I have recently become CPR certified for companion animals through LCCC. I hope that I may be the right fit for your pets and we may get to talk further. I will provide references upon request and will of course take any other questions you may have. Meet ups are always on me if you want to see if I am the right fit for you! :)

Kat was great despite all the challenges of the weekend. First of all, I was so pleased that she came as her grandfather passed away the morning of our departure. Then, our Jenny was very uncooperative and would not come into the house afer being taken outside to play on the second day . To top everything else off, I was at a wedding. The band was loud. I never heard the phone AND the phone went dead at some point in the eveing. With no way to reach me, KAT did what she had to do to ensure the safety of our pets and our home even though, I am sure it cost her a night's sleep. Eventually, she was able to get Jenny in. Niska, our SID, did not tell us any secrets about the event! I would highly recommend Kat!
Kat was wonderful. She took great care of my dog Zoey and sent me pictures and videos. I would definitely book with her again!
I was not there but Kat took very good care of the two pups. Looks like she uis very good with dogs and I look forward to using her services again.
This was my first time using Rover & I happened upon Kat after pouring over all the sitters in my area. I knew right away she was who I wanted to take care of my fur babies when I’m out of town. After a meet greet the kitties and I loved her. She’s a vet tech by profession, animal CPR certified & a mom to many fur babies herself. I felt content & safe leaving my world in her hands & knew if there was a problem that she’d be able to use her skills, judgment and background to handle it. Bonus she sends pictures & videos & I loved this:)... I plan on utilizing her from here on out & you should too!! You won’t be disappointed!!
