Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner of five cats and one hamster myself for the past 14 years. I’m also a huge dog lover and pet wit my neighbors Rottweiler who quickly became my best friend. In my free time I love to go to pet stores and play with the dogs to socialize them or do school work at a cat cafe. I love all types of animals and am willing to provide whatever care is needed for them. When I come in for a drop in visit, I will not only make sure your dog is fed, but I will play with them and make sure they have a good amount of attention and interaction until you’ll see them next. On walks, I am just as excited to explore as your dog is and I will make sure that they are safe and secure next to me the whole time. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your adorable dog or cat!

We reached out to Kat to help walk our high energy, sometimes challenging dog Indigo for a bit where we had extended work hours. She's been wonderful: very easy to work with, flexible, and friendly, and Indigo seems to absolutely love her. Kat even takes great photos of Indy while they're on their walks around the neighborhood. Thanks Kat!
Kat watched our new Rottweiler puppy during the week. She let the puppy out to use the bathroom, brought her on walks, played fetch and practiced training commands. Kat loves our fur baby as much as we do! She is experienced with bigger dog breeds and I felt perfectly comfortable leaving her with our dog starting at 2months old (15lbs) to currently - 8months old (70lbs). She is excellent!

I often joke that animals know I’m an animal person because they do gravitate towards me. I’ve made cats that have never been held in years to become lap cats!

It’s helpful for me to know how well your dog walks on a leash (do they tug or walk right beside you). I also like to know their energy level so that I can tailor my visit to each individual pup. I’d also like to know how well they get along with other dogs and people that we might encounter on our walks.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks with my furry friends and help them get out their energy, whether that be by playing fetch, letting them chase me around the backyard, or any other activity they want to do!
