Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Kat, and I've taken care of animals for the better part of 30 years. From domestic to exotic and even farm life! I own cats, aquatics, small animals, and have welcomed a new pup into my home! I can't wait to assist you with all your pet care needs! I love all animals and am willing to take on larger breeds so long as their temperament is manageable for myself. I have had the pleasure of looking after breeds that are 230 lbs, so it is not out of my scope for care :) Unfixed Pets: I will consider providing services to unfixed pets, given they are puppies/kittens and have no behavioural issues such as aggression, reactivity, marking, etc. Please be open and honest with me, as I want to be sure to provide the best possible care, all while keeping everyones safety in mind :D Side Note : I am knowledgeable in pet first aid and CPR, but not currently certified due to expiration. **** I require all pets to be Vaccinated for safety reasons prior to care and would need to have the up-to-date records posted or sent to me, please :). ****

Kat took great care of my 3 cats and 2 frogs! I felt very secure going away, knowing that she was taking care of them.
Kat looked after our 8 month old pyrenees puppy for a weekend and we were so so happy with the service she provided! It was our first time using Rover, so we werent sure what to expect. But Kat is amazing! She's knowledgable and caring. She went above and beyond to give her lots of exercise, adventures and cuddles. We added on the service of a bath/groom, she's so fluffy and clean! So happy to have met Kat, she's the kind of person you just can't help but love instantly. Will definitely have her care for Penny again in the future! Thank you!!

All pets that are in my care or treated as if they are my own. I treat them all with love and respect. Many cuddles, kisses and treats (if allowed). When I had my dogs we went on nature hikes and lots of outdoor play. Usually, I have extra leashes and poop bags on hand, as well as a safety clip in my vehicle for car rides! I'm very particular about clean water and food bowls as well as litter boxes! I am very aware of allergies with animals, and will provide an allergen-friendly environment! After all, no one wants to be itchy and scratchy!

I like to make sure all animals are VACCINATED for my personal safety, and that they do not have any signs of aggression. I just like to ensure that there is no risk of complications for either party. Please notify if there are health issues or fleas/ticks present.
A typical day
When I had my dog, we use to go on adventure walks and hikes. Sometimes we would sit at the beach side or go for a swim. Nothing beats a walk along trails or just some good old fetch in the back yard for some of the elderly or less active pets! My cats are constantly being entertained by laser pointers and hide and go treat play! I am good with aquatics, reptiles and small animals as well!
