Pet care experience
Aside from growing up in a dog-loving home, I also volunteered at an adoption shelter regularly for years! This gave me plenty of experience with a wide range of dogs with different personalities, histories, sizes, and temperaments. Most importantly I have a passion for doing it! I am a hardcore dog lover (sorry cats) and am always looking for a way to make pets feel at ease, comfortable, and tended to. Whether it be a sleepy pup that wants to lounge or an energetic dog that wants to run, I have the energy and patience to keep up with their needs. If the owners have any questions, I make sure to keep your peace of mind as a priority at all times so feel free to contact me.

Our dog Molly loved to stay with Kat! Molly is reactive and Kat was able to handle her well on walks for potty breaks. She was very communicative and sent photos almost every day, and she was always available to answer questions.

Please let me know of any medical concerns. I have experience with senior dogs, dogs on medication, and/or recovering from procedures. If they need medicine or to be carried down the stairs, definitely let me know in advance. The same goes for any info on temperament or reactivity. I can absolutely accommodate anxious or reactive dogs but need to know in advance so I can be mindful of their triggers. I would also like to know if there is any training I need to keep up with so the pet can have consistency!
A typical day
Walks, belly rubs, playtime, and whatever else the owner/pet recommends! I know every owner has their own preferences on dog parks and their pet interacting with other dogs. Please let me know if you have any concerns so I can be mindful of them.

I work remotely which allows me to have a very flexible schedule for dog sitting. I'm available during the week and on weekends as needed.
