I'm incredibly experienced taking care of dogs that are skeptical of new people, old dogs, and very anxious dogs. I just kind of go at whatever pace the dog is at so as to not overwhelm them or make them get worried. I've been raised around dogs so I'm incredibly comfortable with them as they are with me! I'm comfortable with any breed- I took care of a previously abused pitbull mix at home who adored me and trusted me after the first time I started watching him. My family also has had cats for years, so I've come to understand what cats desire and what they need for care. I've also taken care of a geriatric dog and had to administer oral medicines and observe her a little more closely than other dogs.

Kassidy was great! She took Reed out on some fun hiking adventures and looked after our house and cat. Great communication and happy pets! Would definitely recommend Kassidy and hope to have her watch Reed and Nickel again!
Kassidy was excellent. Our dog adored her and she was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We will definitely be looking to book with her again.
Kassidy was great to have watch our little Aussie. She is easy to work with, good with dogs, and has a little side yard where they can get outside.
It was only a weekend sit but Kassidy kept me updated on my dog, and he looked happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Kassidy took him on a hike and on the golf course with her and he had a grand old time with her. Will definitely work with her again.

In my own home, I take my dogs out frequently for hikes as well as hangout with them and check in on them when they’ve been away from me for awhile. In a client’s home, I like to do the same thing. I personally believe that it’s easier for dogs to have a strange person in their home as opposed to being in a strange place so I try to spend time with the dogs in their space.

I would prefer to know of any issues with other dogs, negative behaviors, and triggers. I'm comfortable reprimanding your dog, but I need to know how you do it at home to keep it consistent.
A typical day
I love exploring, so walks through any neighborhood/park are a must. I also enjoy going for hikes so longer walks for the right dog can be expected. Your dog is going to have an adventure if they spend some time with me.

Pet care fits easily into my routine because I have a lot of free time after work and I can very easily spend an afternoon hanging out with a pet. I find these times to also be satisfying for the animal so that they don’t feel as anxious.
