I have always loved dogs - my parents even tell me that my first word was a bark, instead of the usual "mom" or "dad." Growing up, I would take care of my neighbors' dogs, including dropping-in on them during the week, taking them on walks, caring for them, and giving them treats. I have dog-sat and dog-walked. This includes spending multiple days with dogs, taking them on walks every few hours, playing with them at the park, dropping-in and checking on them, feeding them, and, of course, lots of petting. I am an aspiring grad student, so I am looking for a way to do what I love in the midst of GRE studying and grad school applications. My schedule is flexible and want to help in ways that work best for you!
