We all have dog stories-how we got our dogs, what our dogs' quirks are, what makes them special. I love dog stories and realize how important they are as part of caring for your pooch. I'll pay attention to your dog's story so he'll be safe and cared for and his day will be filled with a little extra glee. As background, I am the proud and adoring owner of a 3-year-old, 20 lb. Cavachon named Elmer. Growing up, we always had shelter mutts, but Elmer's breed came recommended as being great with kids and other pets, and very affectionate--since the Spaniel side of him was bred to be a lap dog. Sure enough, he tries to coax the cats into games of chase and he likes to cozy up right next to a warm thigh and a toasty laptop. He's sort of a little guy, but he has a Doberman-sized personality. I will treat your dog like he's my Elmer. If you'd like your dog to have a bit of company, Elmer is a totally chill beta dog who relishes a good game of chase on occasion.
