Pet care experience
Growing up farming I’ve cared for a variety of animals, including both pet and working animals, most of my life. I even had experience training various herding dogs (mostly Shetland Sheepdogs and Australian Shepards) in high school. Since losing own my fur baby, a handsome Papi Pom named Prince, to bladder cancer I’ve desperately missed having fuzzy companions around. Pet sitting has been a great way to share the love and attention I used to give my own pup with pets that are missing their humans while they’re at work or away!

Kasey was amazing! She sent photos and notes about each day. We could tell she was interacting with them and got to know their personalities. They looked comfortable and happy. Kasey took great care of the house and was super flexible. We hope to use her every time we travel!
Kasey was amazing! I’m definitely nervous about leaving my pups (I think I have more separation anxiety than they do 😅) and I felt confident that they were in good hands with Kasey. I got several pics throughout the evening and that just made my day.
As always, Kasey took great care of our pup and the house while we were away. Kasey is excellent at communicating and really cares for our dog as her own. We are very thankful for her!

I’m well equipped to handle all pet types, so there’s limited information I need to know beforehand. That being said I do always prefer to do a meet and greet before agreeing to a sitting so I can see the pets in their regular environment and be sure we will get along and make a good fit. Their health, happiness, and comfort is so important to insuring they’re able to thrive while you’re away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is hard to describe, as my primary goal is keeping pets on whatever their regular schedule is to avoid stressing them. That being said, with pets that are more flexible, I like to let them take the lead on if we just hang out and relax or if we’ve got energy to spare and need some adventure. They’re missing their people and I want to be sure they’re enjoying their time without them as much as they can.

Availability
I am the sole proprietor of my own business and able to make my own schedule. This enables me ample flexibility to be available for dogs of all types; from staying home with the ones that want to just lay around on the couch all day or getting out with ones that love a good hiking trail or trip to the dog park. That being said while I work primarily from home I do occasionally need to step out for appointments, but they are typically not more than two hours max.
