Pet care experience
I am a Veterinary Technician graduate from Vet Tech Institute of Houston. CPR Certified. I was Resort Manager at a dog resort where I had worked for over 5 years. I have had experience with all types of breed dogs with different temperaments. Experienced dogs who are super sweet to dogs who just take time to get to know you. I have also had experience with working dogs, like police dogs. I have experience taking care of diabetic dogs. I have had animals all my life ranging from cats, dogs, birds, hamsters, and chickens, etc. I have two dogs myself who both are rescues. Your pets will always be taken care of and loved when in my care.

This was the first time I needed a full time house sitter for my 14 year old dog. Karyssa was very communicative during the stay sending photos and video. I would highly recommend!
Karissa did a great job staying with my somewhat anxious dog. She was very communicative and responsive and sent lots of pictures. She handled a neighbor’s dog getting in my backyard perfectly. Will book her again in a heartbeat!
Karyssa was extremely kind, responsible, and went above and beyond to answer our questions and help us feel comfortable leaving our fur babies during our trip. Definitely recommend her!
Karyssa has been walking my pup for a year now and she’s great. Leaves a light on for him if it’s rainy. Plays with him and takes him on walks. Notices if his water bowl is low. He’s part chow chow and not the most friendly so the fact he likes her and lets her in the house speaks volumes! In fact we’ve gotten to the point where I tell him she’s coming in the morning and he gets excited instead of being disappointed to see me go. I’ve recommended her to other pet parents. I care for other peoples pets the same way I would want mine to be cared for. I play with them, make sure they have water, take them on walks if needed. Whatever the client would like me to do for their pets. I do try to keep the same routine for the pets as they have when the parents are home.

Let me know if your pet has seizures and what kind of seizures and what you usually do in those cases. If they need a medication administered at a certain time. Any insulin that needs to be given. If they can be aggressive with other people or dogs when I take them on walks.
A typical day
I love to get the pups playing with any of the toys they have, maybe go out and throw a ball with them. Give them tons of pets and cuddles. I usually walk the dogs around the owners neighborhood, wherever I can.
