Hi, I have 17 years of experience caring for my and my loved ones’ fur babies. Growing up and into adulthood, I have owned and cared for many different types of dogs, and I fully understand and appreciate the love and joy they bring to our families. Our family dogs recently passed away, including a puppy with cancer and a rescue I took in at 13 that lived to 15. It was devastating to lose our babies but I knew in our hearts that we had to continue to share our love with other dogs in need of company and care. When you entrust your dog in our care, our family offers our home and my heart as a safe and comfortable haven for small dogs, whether for a few hours or overnight stays. We are a family that includes two adults, two teenagers and the occasional grandma. Our home is always full and your dogs will never be alone. We offer a loving, safe and comfortable large, clean home environment. We have a well-maintained, enclosed yard and go out with the dog to supervise even when they are in the yard. We do NOT take medium or large-size dogs, and we do not take any dogs who demonstrate fear aggression, resource guarding, or protective tendencies to certain family members.

This is our second booking, it was for an overnight stay. Kartika sent photos throughout the stay and it was obvious that Kobe was being well cared for. We were a little worried on how Kobe would be overnight since he has separation anxiety. However, he thoroughly enjoyed the time with Kartika and there were no issues at all. Kartika keeps the house extremely clean, so Kobe's allergies were not triggered. Highly recommended to any dog and dog owner, especially those that require extra care and attention. Cannot recommend highly enough!
Excellent level of care and highly recommended. Kartika was able to exceed our expectations and we will be booking more days with her. Kobe is an older pug that has separation anxiety and cannot be left alone. He also has allergies and issues with his hind legs. Kartika ensured that Kobe had her full attention and every need was met. Kobe really enjoyed his stay and was even playing with toys, which is something he doesn't do at home. If you're looking for someone that has an anxious dog, Kartika definitely has the experience and ability to provide your dog with a pleasant, worry-free stay!
Kartika showed great care looking after my pup. She was super attentive to details and provided suggestions on how to make my dog felt more comfortable. She was by far the best sitter I've had and she gave me real confidence that my dog was in good hands.
Kartika is so lovely! My husband and I felt so comfortable dropping off our little angel at her house for a one night stay. We were hoping to try this in anticipation for a larger trip that we have coming. Baci was in such great hands. She had so much fun and didn’t even notice we left. She settled in just fine. Kartika asked me many questions about Baci prior to the sleepover in order to get to know her temperament and routine. We were also updated throughout Baci’s stay about when she played, was walked, ate and slept. This brought us so much comfort because we have only used family to watch our little girl. Highly recommend Kartika as you can tell she really cares about your animals and their stay :)

Dogs must be trained to go outside for potty. Pee pad trained dogs are acceptable but owner to provide pads. Overnight boarding can be accommodated on dog bed or crate. Please advise if your dog suffers from separation anxiety. Dogs must have their vaccinations and updated flea and tick medication. Dogs that are destructive or aggressive will not be accepted. Please advise of any special care or medications needed. Medicine can be administered orally, but no injections.
A typical day
Walks (minimum 20 mins) every 4 hours during the day. Cuddles and snuggles Games and mental stimulation Basic obedience training Meal times with owner provided food only Treats with permission from owner and provided by owner to minimize any effects associated with food allergies

Availability
We will provide personal care as we only take one family pup at a time. We work hybrid, and someone is always home for your pup, providing care, walks throughout the day, play, and lots of love! Before your first visit, I will ask for you to provide me with your pups daily schedule and habits. Walks are offered every 2-4 hours depending on the dogs interest and personality. If they don’t walk, no problem! Toys and playtime will be provided throughout the day. Any time spent outside is closely monitored to ensure their safety. Treats and meals will not be provided unless they are given to me at time of drop off. No other foods will be given to ensure your pup doesn’t get an upset stomach, unless I have your permission. No outings will be taken to off leash dog parks to guarantee safety. I prefer pups to sleep in their own beds. However, based on need, arrangements can be made for co-sleeping. I will provide nightly grooming, including paw cleaning before bedtime.
