Pet care experience
I am a retired veterinary technician and have been dog sitting in my home for over 20 years. I love all breeds of dogs, but prefer the smaller breeds. I will take care of laid back or older large dog breeds. I am available most holidays. I live on a hobby farm with my husband and adult son, and have 5 dogs and various farm animals. I am retired and usually home. I will take care of puppies that aren’t spayed/neutered. My dogs get along well with other dogs. I also have experience with diabetic dogs and can give insulin injections and oral medication. I have a fenced in area and can also go for walks. I look forward to hearing from you and am happy to answer any question you may have.

I have no breed preference. The dog has to get along with other dogs and should be crate trained. I do allow them to sleep in my bed, if that is what they are used to. I prefer them to be reliably housebroken, puppies are excluded, but I will work with them while they are at my house.
A typical day
We can walk around my five acre farm, weather permitting. We can play ball and tug, or just sit on the couch and snuggle. I do have 3 young dogs that love to play.

I am retired and am home most days. I love to crochet, knit, and other crafts, so your pup will get plenty of lap time.
