I started working with animals professionally when I was hired to work at Schengrund Stables in Palmyra in Summer 2016 to help taking care of pure bred Morgan horses! Schengrund Stables is a primarily a breeding stable so I would take care of the mares and their babies. We would also have horses that were trained for showing. I distributed feeding, medication, and stall cleaning as well as other chores that were needed around the stable. I worked there for two years. I then worked at Kopec Veterinarian which is an Equine vet service in Elizabethtown, Pa, as a stable girl for a year and a half. This summer 2019, I worked at Gochenauer Kennels as a receptionist, helping take care of the dogs and cats that came for boarding and daycare. I have experience working with large and small animals and I love working with all different kinds of animals!
