I am a bit of a safety freak. I prefer to walk my dogs on a leash and only allow people whom I know to touch them. Additionally, I only let my dogs play with other dogs that I am familiar with. Even if you have a fenced property, I will not leave your dog outside alone. Before leaving the house, I make sure that my pets have clean water and food. I also check if there is an open window or door somewhere and ensure that the doors are properly locked.
