Pet care experience
Ever since I moved to Edinburgh 4 years ago, I miss interacting with dogs! I grew up with two Yorkshire terriers (small but fiery!) so small dogs have a very special place in my heart, and so do senior dogs. After my second dog passed away, I fostered a puppy from a shelter (a schnauzer mix) and under my care he recovered from parvo and was successfully adopted. Therefore, I have more than 14 years of experience taking care of dogs at my home, covering puppy training, basic care, giving medication, vet visits, etc. Besides that, I regularly dogsitted my aunt's dog (a Staffordshire terrier mix) while she and her husband were abroad, so I have experienced a larger and more energetic dog as well. I love dogs of all ages and sizes, and I'm ready to accommodate all their needs!

Riley spent a wonderful day with Karolina - lovely walks and patrolling for cats in her garden. She settled him in and he seemed to feel right at home, snoozing and playing with a ball. Karolina also kindly sent updates and cute photos of their day. He’s back again for a stay this time and tail was wagging away as soon as he saw her. Thanks, Karolina!

Karolina was really kind and our 7 month puppy Milo had a fantastic time with her.
Karolína helped us out by having our dog overnight while we attended a family wedding. We met up before the day to familiarise Angus with Karolína and to chat about his needs, likes and dislikes. Angus is a 9yr old cockapoo and is usually cared for by family members but seemed very comfortable with Karolína. We were very happy with his care and would certainly use Karolína again.

Neither me or my flatmates currently have any pets. The dog will be allowed to be in the shared spaces and in my room. The owner should give me details about the care desired at their home. My flatmates will not be responsible for pet care although they might meet the dogs in the flat.

Availability
I'm flexible with working from home/office at the main campus, my only scheduled in-person meeting so far is on Wednesday mornings. My flat is on the first floor and has a shared fenced garden. Since I'm located in Marchmont, I usually go for walks in Bruntsfield Links, the Meadows, or even the Blackford area for longer walks.
