I love all animals and have provided care for them almost my entire life. When I was five I began helping my mom care for her horse and the other animals at our neighbors barn. At the age of 8, my personal care of animals began with adopting a bunny. Since then, my family adopted several dogs, for which I took the lead in training them as puppies and caring for them until I went to university. I went to university in Texas where I began volunteering at an animal shelter that rescues animals at risk for euthanasia, whether due to health or behavioural problems. I received ample training to best train and care for animals with behavioural and health problems here. As a volunteer, I walked dogs and trained them to overcome bad habits, in addition to caring for senior dogs and assisting with healthcare for dogs who required it. While at university, I also fostered dogs, rescuing them from euthanasia and caring for them until I could find good lifelong homes. Overall, with a deep-rooted love for animals and years of experience, I will provide compassionate care tailored to each pet's needs. From regular walks and cuddles to assisting with training and healthcare if required, my top priorities are their well-being and happiness.
