Hi I’m Karlyn! I am a lover of all pets-young, old, big or small- and I take any opportunities to show them love and take them on adventures. I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember and have two fur babies of my own. My two indoor cats, who have both grown up with dogs, mostly keep to themselves when we have visitors. However, they have been known to make appearances to watch from the exposed beams with a judging glare.

Karlyn was an excellent sitter and gave our pups lots of love and attention during the week she was there. She provided updates, pictures and videos. Additionally Karlyn works from home, ensuring your fur baby won’t be alone for long stretches, and has a great house with a lovely fenced in backyard. She is responsible, responsive and clearly loves animals. It’s hard to find the right fit and we are very happy with how this worked out. Recommend without hesitation and will book again!
We feel very fortunate to have discovered Karlyn to care for Archie and Lucy! She made them feel right at home and they were happy to get lots of attention, back yard play time and walks. It was awesome to be put at ease while we traveled knowing Karlyn was taking such good care of them and enjoying their company!
Karlyn is incredible. She communicated often with us and was the most loving and caring sitter we’ve ever had. Our puppy was so happy spending time with her. Highly recommend!!!

A typical day
I know a ton of great trails in Richmond where I love to take the dogs on walks. The river is my happy place but I also love going to Forest Hill Park! And of course, playing fetch in my fenced in back yard is always a fun way for the pups to burn some more energy. I have tons of toys around the house that your dog is welcome to play with and there are plenty of comfy spots around the house for them to chill.
