I have lived with, loved, and cared for dogs throughout my entire life. I have been pet sitting and walking for 13 years (Since I was 10 years old!). I have also been fostering dogs and cats for many years, so I am well versed in the care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. I have a dog of my own named Myka for which my love is unmeasurable, and I can assure you that I will show your pups the same love. Myka is also very well trained and friendly, so if your pup is playful she will help tire them out, and if they want their alone time she will respect that. If your dog would rather not be around other dogs then you can just book house sitting, and I will come give them my undivided attention in your home. The prices I have shown for house sitting include a daily walk and staying the night with your pet in your home. However, if you don't need me to stay the night, but just want me to hang out with your pet during the day, then I will adjust the price down accordingly. I have a minor in animal science from UC Davis so I am completely comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with special needs. I have personally owned an anxious and reactive dog, so I know how scary it can be to leave them with a sitter, but I can assure you that I will go at your dogs pace, and I will be extremely attentive to things like doors and gates to make sure your baby stays safe. I am also comfortable using a variety of walking/training tools (Prong, Ecollar, gentle leader etc.), so if you would like me to incorporate these into your dogs walk that is no problem. In addition, I am experienced in giving subcutaneous injections if that is something your pet needs. If you are interested in having me exercise your dog I can walk or run depending on their energy level, or if they are more of a couch potato we can totally just hang out and snuggle. My life basically revolves around animals, and I would love to bring yours into my orbit!
