Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Karlin and I am a Child and Adolescent Therapist. I would love to help take care of your fur baby or babies! I have always been a huge animal lover... I have grown up with two large yellow Labrador Retrievers and have been pet sitting for years. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, as well as cats and kittens. I also have experience caring for smaller critters such as guinea pigs and hamsters. I am knowledgable in caring for senior pets and pets with disabilities, and am also comfortable administering medication. My goal is to provide quality care for your animal while you are away and ensure your pet’s safety at all times. As someone who is compassionate, trustworthy, and responsible, you can count on me to take care of your pets as if they were my own! I also currently have my own 1 and a half year old yellow lab, Monty, and he absolutely loves other dogs. I live in an apartment that has a dog park in it, so your dog will always have exercise when they’re with me. While caring for your pet, I guarantee the following: -Photo and text updates as frequently as you'd like -Brushing, upon request -Administering medication, upon request -Walks, upon request -Fetch and play time -Frequent potty breaks -Lots of hugs, kisses, and belly scratches! Our lab Zuzu enjoyed her daycare time with Karlin and her dog Monty! I appreciated that Karlin has a young lab so she was prepared for how much energy Zuzu would have! Zuzu and Monty enjoyed lots of play time, and Zuzu was a happy and tired pup when we picked her up. Karlin was great with communication.
Karlin took such great care of our super active puppy, treating him like her own. He also loves playing non-stop with her dog, Monty. Karlin updated us regularly, which definitely helps us enjoy our trip and not stress about how our dog is doing.
Karlin took such great care of our 5-month old pup during our first weekend away. He is definitely a handful, but she was so attentive to him and kept us updated throughout the weekend. He loved playing with her dog as well and was exhausted after their fun weekend!!
Karlin’s the best. Billy loves her. (And Jane when Jane visits) She’s very professional, keeps me well advised of her schedule, always punctual and reliable! Highly recommend.

I’m happy to take your dog for walks near your home or near mine, which is close to the Ann Arbor Botanical Gardens and has plenty of walking paths. I also have a dog park at my apartment.

Availability
I work full-time, 50% from home. I work from home all day on Thursdays and Fridays. I live 5 minutes away from my office and am only gone 5 hours max once or twice per week (it depends on the week). I’m able to frequently let your dog out and take it for a walk if it fits with my schedule.
