Pet care experience
My name is Karlie and I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for about 5 years now! I have a dachshund/beagle mix of my own, and I am extremely comfortable around animals. My friends, family, neighbors, and even friends of friends have trusted me to feed, walk, watch over, and play with their pets of all different breeds and sizes. I have watched up to 5 fully grown dogs at once, so I can handle multi pet homes! I have experience taking care of puppy litters that need around the clock care since my aunt is a breeder of bernese mountain dogs. I have also cared for a special needs puppy with mega esophagus, so I can adapt if there are any special circumstances! I am happy to walk, check in on, let out, or stay with your pets as needed.

Karlie has been caring for my dog, Vivian Michelle, for the past six years. Vivian is a shih-tzu mix, about 12 lbs. She'll be 12 in September 2022. Vivian is a very stereo-typical 'small' dog: doesn't like other dogs, barks a lot, doesn't really like people. ;o) But she LOVES Karlie <3 Vivian sustained a back injury about three years ago. Her gait is wonky, and she can't always cross the threshold to get outside. Karlie is very patient and kind with Viv, helping her when needed. She also cleans up when Viv has an accident in the house. Karlie leaves me a note about how the visit went, and sends pictures. She is very flexible and can usually come without much notice. I am very thankful to have Karlie in Viv's life, and will miss her when she goes back to school. Viv will miss her too.
Karlie has taken great care of our Lab Diesel several times. Diesel has many health issues and is on daily medication. Karlie is loving and treats him like her own. She ensures he gets his meds timely, gets one on one time and she even stays overnight so he is not alone. She is trustworthy and reliable! I can only highly recommend her! She will always be my go-to when we need someone for Diesel!
Karlie is a responsible and loving pet sitter. She has taken care of our old cat on many occasions. She always come thru for us at the last minute and we know he will be well taken care of. She takes care of giving him his daily medication and even cleans up any messes he makes when I tell her she doesn't have to. Karlie's the best!
Karlie is a very responsible young adult who has cared for my 5 Bernese mountain dogs for a week at a time. She is a true animal lover and I know my babies are having the best time when Karlie is dog sitting! I never have to worry about the dogs - or my house- when I hire Karlie!!!

I would love to know your pet’s favorite toy or activity and I will most definitely play along! For more hyper animals, I will ensure they can do their “zoomies,” but I am also alright with just sitting and hanging out together if you have a calmer pet.

I am a college student so I have a set schedule of classes each semester, but I would love to hang out with your pups in my free time! My classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I am relatively free throughout the rest of the week!
