HISTORY: I grew up with dogs and still miss mine every day. My parents currently have a Cavalier King Charles named Maggie and she is 75% of the reason I still go home to visit ;) Currently in a high rise in Mount Vernon Triangle; there is a dog run in the building and lots of great places to go on walks--including the dog park in Shaw. EXPERIENCE: - In high school, I would regularly dog sit for neighbors and dogs of all sizes. - My ex-roommate (a nurse) had a St. Bernard named Betty and I would regularly care for her when my roommate was working the night shift. - This past spring, I walked two dogs daily and would house sit the dogs roughly once per month when the couple travelled. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: - Extremely responsible - Flexible weekend schedule - Very active and would happily go running with dogs

Karli was so great with not only our two very energetic dogs but also with us! This was the first time we've ever left the pups behind when we've gone away and Karli did more with her time with our dogs than we had even asked! She sent pics to ease my mind and the dogs looked so happy to be out and about the city with her. Moving forward she will be the only other person to help us when we need to leave town again! I can't say enough about our experience! Thank you Karli!
Karli is a rockstar for taking our pups at the very last minute (like with just an hour's notice!) when our other sitter had an emergency. We will definitely try to book her again (with proper advanced notice next time!). Our pups came back happy and ready to be tucked in for the night. She gave us great peace of mind while we were away.
