I have been blessed with the opportunity to care for dogs since I was in high school! I grew up with two dogs biscuit and honey. I was in charge of taking them for walks, feeding, training, and some grooming.

Karleigh has been cat sitting for me for years and she's extremely reliable. Whenever I'm looking for someone to check on my baby Arya, I know I can count on her to come through. Anyone who leaves their pet in Karleigh's care is guaranteed dependability, promptness, and professionalism.
Karleigh is phenomenal! Karleigh has watched my dachshund a few times now and I couldn’t recommend someone better! They are attentive and yet very playful with my dog spidie! The communication is always on point so I never go too long wondering what they are up to!
Karleigh was absolutely the most professional caregiver for our puppy. We just got a new puppy and had to go out of town. Immediately found Karleigh met in person and once our puppy and Karleigh met we knew we found our match. Karleigh was very communicative and overall made us feel at ease with them taking care of such a high energy puppy. Will definitely be booking with Karleigh again!

I live in an apartment complex and I am fostering, so I am not currently boarding at this time. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in my client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that helps each pet feel comfortable and cared for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible this includes feeding times, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions you provide. I treat your home with the same respect I’d expect for my own, and I make sure your pet gets lots of attention, affection, and consistency while you’re away.

What’s their typical daily routine? (Feeding, potty breaks, walks, naps) How often do they eat, and at what times? How often do they go out to potty or take walks? Are they spayed/neutered? What kind of food do they eat? How much? Are they allowed treats? If so, which ones and how often? Any food allergies or dietary restrictions? Are they friendly with other dogs, people, or kids? Do they have any fears or triggers (e.g. loud noises, thunder, skateboards)? How do they behave when left alone? Are they crate-trained? Are there any behavioral quirks I should know about (e.g. chewing, marking)? Are there any off-limits areas or furniture? Where do they usually sleep? Should I expect barking or accidents?
A typical day
When I’m with your pet, it’s all about making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved! Depending on their personality and energy level, I love going on long walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, exploring new sniff spots, or just relaxing with some cuddle time. I’ll also keep them mentally engaged with games, toys, and positive attention. If they have favorite activities or routines, I’ll make sure to stick to those too. My goal is to make sure they feel like they’re on a little vacation too while you’re away!

Availability
I have a unique schedule that allows me to be flexible throughout the week. I work from home three days a week, which makes it easy for me to do home visits and drop-ins during the day. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I work in the office for about 8 hours, so on those days I’d be available for visits in the morning before work and again after 4 PM. While early morning walks may be limited, I’m consistently available for afternoon and evening walks or drop-ins most days, including days I’m in the office.
