Pet care experience
Growing up my parents didn't allow me to have any pets. *Super bummer* But as soon as I moved out on my own made up for the lost time by taking care of many pets. I became the friend who would house sit all the time, the family member vacation pet sitter and the rescue animal lover. I've also had my own furry baby India for 8 years and Ruby our 'Hurricane" anxious prone rescue for 1 year. She appeared in my garage in the middle of a hurricane. When I moved to NYC they stayed behind with their "dad" and I missed them daily. I'd like to have another pet but I’m still emotionally attached to my cuties. Which is why I'd like to give all this untapped love to your bundle of joy. I assure you they'll be taken care as if they were my own.
Reviews
Karla was awesome with Zumba! She welcomed him into the home and reassured me he will be safe and sound. Communication was 100% and many pictures were provided! Would highly recommend Karla to a pet parent!
Karla was exceptional! She was constantly sending me updates with pictures. She was very good with my hyper puppy. She constantly gave him attention and made sure to help him burn lots of energy throughout the day on walks. Definitely recommend!
Karla takes great care of my Sofie when I'm out of town. She's a total animal lover and is clearly committed to keeping pets happy and healthy. You're not going to find a friendlier dog sitter :)

I don’t have any pets for now. I dog walk sometimes and if your pet likes other dogs we can have a bit of play time. If not I walk them separately to avoid issues.

Information Karla T. would like to know about your pet
I want to be as prepared as possible to make your furball feel at home. - Daily Routine [Consistency is important.] - What's their energy level? [Laid back stay home for belly rubs kinda fella or high energy longer walks run like the wind to feel cared and happy?] -Are they Neutered? [I prefer that they neutered. If not I can meet the pooch and see if we are ok with each other] -Do they have their vaccinations Up to date? - If dog sitting/boarding : will this be their first time away from home? [Homesickness is hard for dogs too. It's best to be prepared for it] - Behavior/Personality [Do they bark at people passing by or feel nervous, specially with people on bikes. Etc] -Are they trained to potty outside or do they have a designated area at home?
A typical day
I live in Rego Park walking distance from beautiful parks and near a doggy park as well. During nice summery days we'll have long/fun walks and adventures. During winter I “train” for 10k’s and I take them with me during my walking training days. They come back happy and tired. I work from home most days. So I can be there with them for constant daily belly rubs.
