Karla has had dogs since 7 years old and Steven has had dogs his entire 40 years of life. Friends and family have relied on us to feed and watch their dogs. We would love to take care of your pup while having fun playing with our dog Winston. About Winston: he is a very friendly dog, always looking for a friend to play with, it might take a couple minutes for him to warm up but he will come around. He loves Santa Claus, cheese burger toys, ice cream, belly rubs, cuddles, etc… he looks forward to play with your doggie. Woof woof. We love the outdoors; hiking, camping, fishing, boat rides… etc) We have a cabin up north that we try to go as much as we can during summer, if you feel comfortable letting us bring your dogs to our cabin they will have 80 acres of freedom where we will be enjoying beautiful nothern Minnesota (we will let you know if we are planning on going the dates you request the service to see if that’s something you are comfortable with).

Our first time boarding our 13 year old dog. Mauer was comfortable and relaxed when we dropped him off and seemed very content when we picked him up. Karla and Dave were easy to work with. Thanks for watching Mauer!
We had our first visit this last week and it went great. Steve and Karla are good dog people. They have a great, secure yard which Ringo loved. And Ringo seemed to be well looked after. I highly recommend them.
Karla and Steven watched my sweet little Obie (5lb resuce) and made him feel so comfortable in his first Rover experience!
Karla, Steven, and their dog are awesome and so is their giant back yard. We were travelling on a road trip and wanted to see some non-dog friendly sites while giving our dog a break from being in the car with us. Karla and Steven accepted our booking with only 24 hours advanced notice which allowed us to see more of Minneapolis while our dog got to spend the day being lazy on their couch. I wish we lived closer so we could book with them over and over again!

We have a 6ft tall fenced backyard with rocks around it so dogs can’t dig. 2 water bowls are provided for dogs when outside. If it’s too hot or cold dogs will be inside but if weather allows it your dog and Winston will be outside as much as possible.

Our schedule is pretty flexible. Steven works from home. Karla has a flexible job that allows her to come home when she needs to. Your dog might be alone 2 hours or so at max.
