Pet care experience
Hi there, I am the former dog mom of a goofy 65lbs pitbull. I rescued her and had her for 13 years. She passed on last year and I’ve been sitting my friends pets ever since. I have experience with small, large, senior and handicapped dogs. And one of my regular clients is an incredibly sweet senior diabetic cat, so medications are also not a problem. I’m sure everyone says this on here, but I genuinely love and adore animals and look forward to meeting yours.

This was my first time using this service and Karla exceeded my expectations. It's very hard for me to leave my dog, but she made my trip worry-free with her check in and photos/communication. She left my house better than I left it and I will definitely book again with her. Thanks Karla!!!!
Karla and I can talk about dogs all day long. She is one of the biggest animal lovers I've known and also a great animal whisperer. They become best-friends right away, something special about her energy! I would trust Karla with any of my pets. I know they would be in great hands and would get enough love and care. Definitely would recommend Karla if you need somebody to look after your furry babies!
Karla is a wonderful pet sitter. She is punctual, a great communicator, and great with my dog. She sent updates and photos throughout the sitting. Booking with Karla was very easy and a positive experience. I would definitely recommend Karla as a pet sitter and I will be using her again.

As a former pet owner I am acutely aware of the safety and risks when it comes to pets. With all clients I listen carefully to what the owners preferences are so that the disruption to the pets routine is minimal. I make sure the animal feels safe and comfortable paying attention to their energy and behavior. I make sure not to leave things out for them to chew on or swallow and I make sure all doors are closed so no one can accidentally run in to areas they’re not supposed to.

I always like to know the owners and the pets preferences when it comes to food/treats as well as harness/leash types. Also important is their social behavior, how they get along with other animals or if they prefer not to interact with other animals
A typical day
I like taking nice walks in the neighborhood and if there are parks or local hiking trials nearby I like to take them there as well. It’s also fun to play with the dogs favorite toys to keep them stimulated and happy
