After managing the boarding and doggy daycare departments of Old Farm Veterinary Hospital for four years I decided to extend my love and care outside of the clinic setting! I've walked, fed, bathed, played, cuddled, and loved every single pet that has been entrusted to me. My attention with be focused solely on your pet and their comfort during our time together. Regardless of their age, mobility, or temperament I've never met a dog or cat I couldn't befriend! Due to my clinical experience I can administer medications (including insulin) and navigate most behavioral issues safely. My availability is flexible and I'm always eager to meet new clients. I am also readily available to stay with your pet at practically any hour of the day or night.

Karla was wonderful. We have a blind dog that becomes uneasy with new people but Karla was patient with her. She provided us with many updates and pictures which is so extremely important to me. I cannot get enough pictures. My home was left in immaculate condition and my dogs were happy when we returned. I highly recommend Karla and will continue to use her on a regular basis.

I accept any and all breeds! I have the most experience with Basset Hounds after growing up with them my entire life. I've helped rescue and love five of them. - Does your dog have any allergies or food sensitivities? - What is the preferred veterinary clinic in the case of an emergency? - Is your dog friendly with other dogs/pets? - What is their favorite toy, treat, or activity?
A typical day
I prefer walking my clients in either familiar areas (such as their neighborhood), or open parks where there's lots of new scents to explore. If your pup is high-energy and enjoys a game of fetch or tug-o-war my personal best is an hour and 15 minutes non-stop, but I'm always looking to set a new record! However, I'm also content to hang out and cuddle if your dog is more laid back or geriatric. Providing reassurance to them while you are away is my top priority.
