Hi there! My name is Karla and I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I have either owned a dog or lived with a roommate who had one almost my entire life. They are great, loving companions. In return for their happiness and unconditional love, I give them love back! I enjoy all dog breeds from the small and hyper Jack Russell Terriers to calmer and quieter Golden Retrievers. I work with children and their families at a nonprofit organization in Santa Clara County. I have only been sitting periodically, but would like to increase my bookings. I'm looking for clients in Santa Clara county, so I can sit locally and be engaged with my community. As a homeowner, I understand what it means to care for a home, and know how beneficial it is to have someone there keeping an eye on things while you're away. And, of course, traveling with pets is not always feasible, I'd be there to rub tummies and play with yarn, whatever your pets need! Dogs and cats have been in my care, one way or another for as long as I can remember. I would say that my love for all breeds and playful energy qualifies me to be a great pet/dog sitter. There have been many pets in my family since before I was born. Loving dog was part of growing up. My sister had a Black Lab and I had Poodle Collie Mix. We've also had rabbits, fish, iguanas and a turtle. I am comfortable administering medication. The administration process is different for every animal, and I am happy to do it.
