Please let me know what your dog dislikes and loves the most. This will help make their stay with me fun and comfortable. Please inform me of any medications or allergies your dog may have. Some dogs can be sensitive and that would be important information to know too. If you think your dog doesn’t get along with all dogs I highly recommend we set up a meet and greet that way we’re sure we are a great fit. Please no aggressive dogs. When it comes to feeding sometimes when a dog is in a new environment they may skip a meal or two, that’s completely normal. Some dogs get homesick and miss their humans. By the second day they usually eat. Of course I’ll keep you updated on their performance. We take turns eating to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. Sensitive dogs may get a bit of fresh snacks with your permission only. These snacks are usually unseasoned meats and veggies. I usually always have deli turkey and carrots because my dog loves those and it’s a quick snack. No toxic ingredients will be served like grapes, onions, garlic, avocado, etc. (I’m very familiar with what dogs can’t eat). There are a few dog friendly parks around my neighborhood where dogs are allowed. However these parks usually require dogs to stay on leash. I won’t let them run around off leash. When they’re in my home or yard then leash/ harness is off.
